Health Matters: Hepatitis C
By
It is estimated that one in every 10 Americans have Hepatitis C. Known as “a silent killer,” many people are unaware they are infected, leaving them vulnerable to liver damage and other health problems. To help us better understand this, Tarek Hassanein, M.D., Medical Director of Liver Transplantation and Chief of Clinical Hepatology at UCSD, educates us on Hepatitis C, including the latest treatment options, while Stan Miller, respected anchor at Channel 8 evening news, bravely shares the story of his own Hepatitis C diagnosis. Series: “Health Matters” [4/2007] [Health and Medicine] [Show ID: 12229]

That rash….oh …
That rash….oh that rash. The Dr had to take me off treatment for a month, and it went away. Hey man, 4 weeks left! Keep on truckin’….you are almost there! The results of my treatment….are still there. I have not worked since, chronic fatigue, stomach problems, memory problems….that interferon / ribavarin is some strong stuff. Main thing….keep the faith in a higher power (mine being God) and put your load on HIS shoulders, things will be fine. Prayers, Glenn from Kentucky.

If you have any …
If you have any hepatitis, A, B ,or C, take MMS (miracle mineral supplement). It’s the CURE believe it or not. If you are narrow minded, you don’t have to believe in me and live an uncomprtable life for the rest of your life. check what MMS is if you are in doubt.

We need to stand up …
We need to stand up and DEMAND universal medical care. What a farce, we supposedly have the biggest economy in the world and we are jerked around by for-profit insurance companies. Medically, we are a third world country. What difference does it make if we have the best doctors, but no one has access? WhenIi read about people not having insurance and being shut out of medical treatment, or not being able to afford treatment because the insurance co-pays are too much, I become enraged.
