Ativan
Buspar (for people who are easily addicted to drugs or alcohol,
Traxene,
Antidepressants used for anxiety:
Zoloft
Paxil
Wellbutrin XL
Effexor XR
Cymbalta
Atypical meds:
Zyprexa
Seroquel
Abilify
Neurontin

i actually took cymbalta but now im just on Effexor. i think they're actually antidepressants but help with anxiety as well. i think most antidepressants help with anxiety, at least that is what i've found.

If you don't want to go the prescription drug route, you could try valerian root. It's widely available in capsules and has helped me A LOT. I had been getting stress migraines every day for a couple of months and then started taking the valerian. It really mellows me out. And it's totally safe. It's been taken for centuries.

I take prosaic for depression and Valium for anxiety attacks.Been taking them for years they are now becoming ineffective.
