Is there a difference in the treatment for SAD and GAD?

Is there a difference in the treatment for social anxiety disorder and generalized anxiety disorder? I'm on an antidepressant but still have social anxiety issues. Anyone have any success with any particular med? I don't have time for therapy, so I'm really looking more in the direction of meds. Thanks!

What medication are you taking right now? I would recommend something like effector, lexapro, or cymbalta. But, I use to have social anxiety as well and the best thing for it is exposure. Just walk up to complete strangers (preferably with a friend and in a crowded place lol) and conduct a make up survey and just ask them question, it will help you with talking to people and social interaction.
